Position Description: Automates software application deployments through complex environments using code package management tools -- Git, uDeploy, Jenkins, and Maven. Architects and implements Continuous Integration/Continuous Development (CI/CD) pipelines. Implements features and automation on Web-based applications using programming languages -- Angular, Java, and JavaScript. Develops software applications using Angular, Java, JavaScript, Jenkins, uDeploy, and React. Provides business solutions by developing complex or multiple software applications. Primary Responsibilities: Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going development efforts. Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in multiple platforms. Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several divisional initiatives. Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to implementation. Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance testing. Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications supporting several corporate initiatives. Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems. Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope. Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a project. Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects supporting several initiatives. Education and Experience: Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) building Self-Service and Automated AI products using Interactive Voice Response Technology (IVR) in a Genesys ecosystem specific to inbound and outbound calls. Or, alternatively, Masters degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and one (1) year of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) building Self-Service and Automated AI products using Interactive Voice Response Technology (IVR) in a Genesys ecosystem specific to inbound and outbound calls. Skills and Knowledge: Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (DE) creating and deploying automated testing solutions for Genesys voice channels using AI products -- natural language understanding, advanced speech recognition, and voice biometrics; and performing functional testing of IVR applications, using call Master Hammer, Cyara, NCP and client Web services, using Cucumber and IntelliJ. DE configuring, monitoring, and controlling a Genesys call routing environment to perform end-end testing of various Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Data science initiatives --channel re-direction and Personalization. DE performing business and systems analysis in the full software and product development lifecycle (SDLC), using Scrum methodologies in an Agile environment; developing IVR applications and backed REST APIs, using VXML, REST APIs, XML, JSON, and GraphQL; and testing Virtual Assistance ChatBots using Cucumber JVM and IntelliJ. DE documenting APIs, using TestHarness and API integrator; performing application build and deployment, using Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery tools -- Git, Jenkins, Docker, and IBM uDeploy; and monitoring systems, using Nuance Client Portal, Kibana and Splunk.
