POSITION SUMMARY Foundant Technologies is looking for a full-time Information Technology Support Specialist (ITSS) with enterprising problem-solving skills and a devotion to exceptional customer support and experience. This is a critical role in achieving secure and effective IT operations. The ITSS will provide direct technical assistance and support to Foundant Technologies team members and will be afforded the opportunity to evolve the role as the organization grows while keeping sight of the fundamental importance of providing team members with high-quality stable technology to fulfill their various roles on the Foundant team. Objectives of this Role Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware Handle business-critical IT duties and system improvements Enable faster and smarter business processes and employee productivity Research and evaluate emerging technologies, hardware, and software Serve as the subject matter expert supporting, Windows, and all common office software and applications, such as Microsoft, Adobe and G-Suite products as used at Foundant Technologies
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: Install, configure, and support workstation software, hardware, printers, and phones Analyze staff needs, identify vulnerabilities, boost efficiency and accuracy Execute system, design, documentation, implementation, and testing., ensuring components meet needs and work together seamlessly Implement applications and software upgrades, as well as performance troubleshooting Train employees on both software and hardware, troubleshoot, and provide technical support when needed
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Demonstrable knowledge of providing IS support to a dynamic and growing organization Desire to work collaboratively with team members and users to accomplish end goals Strong oral and written communications skills Ability to respond effectively to inquiries or complaints. Ability to develop, maintain, and promote strong internal and external relationships Ability to work autonomously to problem solve Outstanding organizational and time-management skills Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principals Strong desire to continuously learn and develop deeper understanding of Information Systems and how to support them Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
