Position Description Redhorse Corporation is hiring a Facility Operations Specialist (FOS) in McAllen, TX on a contract with the United States Customs and Border Protection (US CBP). In this execution-focused client-facing position, the successful candidate will possess strong project management skills and will work closely with the larger Project Management Office (PMO) team within their sector, providing oversight and monitoring on the PMO's portfolio of facilities maintenance projects. Primary Responsibilities for the Facility Operations Specialist include: * Support all project requirements, which may include providing acquisition program management consulting and analysis as required to facilitate the success of specific programs * Shall provide assistance in the development of a variety of acquisition-related program-supported business documents (such as SOW/SOO/PWS) in accordance with USACE, FAA, GSA, CBP, and FAR * Will assist the government in the preparation of Market Research, Determination of Findings, and Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) documentation * Will assist in the preparation of Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCE) and lifecycle costs for acquisition and program support requirements * Manage, track, and report on the required funding and the budget for the initiative project, or task in its purview * Support the PMO by monitoring maintenance work and tracking the completion, assisting the government in developing repair solutions for facilities, and developing task and project documentation as required * Assist the government in oversight and monitoring of environmental task completion and shall assist the government in making sure all permits, warranties, and equipment documentation is accounted for in the appropriate systems of record * Shall act as a single point-of-contact for all parties/partners involved within these projects Basic Requirements for Skills, Experience, and Credentials include: * Bachelor' or equivalent degree is required * Five (5) or more years of related work experience is required * Possess a proven experience developing and maintaining working relationships with high level officials and technical experts * Ability to work collaboratively with all team members * Excellent written and oral communication skills * Expertise with Microsoft office suite of programs, especially MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word * Experience working in a fast-based, analytical environment Additional Preferred requirements for Skills, Experience, and Credentials include: * Experience working within MS Project, SAP and Primavera P6 preferred * PMP Certification is preferred, but not required * DHS experience is preferred The work environment for this position requires an individual to be able to: * Obtain CBP Public Trust * Completed CBP Background Investigation clearance strongly preferred * Work sitting or standing at a desk or conference table for extended periods of time with the ability to shift positions while working: sit, stand, pace, adjust positioning in any of those without issue * Walk in the office to collaborate with co-workers, attend meetings or retrieve documents from printer * Work in extreme climatic conditions and rapidly changing temperatures * Must be able walk over long distances and across of variety of terrains, including uneven surfaces * Must be able to climb, jump, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl * Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs across a distance of as much as 30 yards * Must be able to work in rooftops, crawl spaces, mechanical rooms, airstrips, helicopter pads and sub-terrain locations * Must be able to work with minimal supervision * Must posses a valid Driver's License to operate vehicle as needed to complete work assignments * Operate government-owned or leased vehicles Redhorse Corporation shall, in its discretion, modify or adjust the position to meet Redhorse's changing needs.
