DECO, Inc, a global provider of law enforcement and military training, security solutions and specialized technical services is seeking a qualified pricing director to support the pursuit of opportunities across the Department of State and Department of Defense. Position will be responsible for preparing cost and price proposals of medium to high complexity in accordance with federal acquisition regulations and utilizing the principles of cost accounting standards. This includes working in a close team environment with the capture/proposal teams to develop pricing strategies, identifying risks, interpreting solicitation requirements, understanding and communicating impacts on company profitability, and calculating profit and loss statements for each proposal. This person gathers cost data and studies which provide detailed cost information used in developing proposals and conducts proposal peer reviews. This position will be required to effectively achieve results with minimal supervision and will report to the Vice President, Business Development with a dotted line to the CFO. Primary Responsibilities:Develop a plan for securing knowledge and understanding of the customer's requirements, issues, and needs during the pursuit and capture phases and lead planning sessions with core teamCoordinate meetings with customers, competitors, clients, and teammates to develop market insight on requirements, acquisition strategy, acquisition timing, and contract vehicle choicesPlan and participate in capture activities, to include opportunity gate reviews, black hat sessions, collaboration and workshop sessions, proposal reviewsLead competitive assessments, teaming, and price-to-win efforts while meeting and adhering to company profitability targetsWork with the finance and accounting team in contract budget creation, preparation and analysisSupport the writing of white papers, RFI responses, and other proposal artifacts as assignedBrief capture status to senior management at specified milestones in the capture process, when material changes occur and as neededReview contract specification, ascertain viability, develop technical proposal response, and follow the bid process through its entiretyConduct after action reviews for all business opportunity capture participants to document lessons learned and identify necessary adjustments to capture technique, strategy, and actionsThis position will have no supervisory requirements Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting, or related degree, Master's degree preferable10+ years of government pricing, preferably in government security services2 years supporting price-to-win and/or competitive intelligence experienceExposure to DOD, DHS and DOS contract bidsStrong and broad knowledge of GAAP, FAR and CASStrong working knowledge and experience with financial analysis and financial statement preparationAdvanced skills in MS Excel, proficient in MS Word and PowerPointStrong analytical skillsStrong organizational, project management, communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to obtain Security Clearance This position has the ability to work remote.
