Description:-Candidate will provide general Specialty Engineering support to the Missile Launch Detector program.
-Reporting to the MLD Logistics and Sustainment Engineering (LSE) Manager, candidate will assist in the execution of Reliability, maintainability, and testability activities with minimal supervision.
-Develops, coordinates and conducts technical reliability studies and evaluations of engineering design concepts and design of experiments constructs.
-Candidate will be required to provide status on activities as part of monthly program reviews, failure review boards, and corrective action boards.
--- Reports status of technical performance, schedule performance, and budget performance
--- Participates in technical and programmatic reviews and meetings
--- Interfaces with multi-disciplined / cross-functional teams to achieve success (Production Operations, Contract Management, Engineering, Quality, Business Ops and Program Management)

-Must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
-Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university OR equivalent professional experience with combined education.
-Must have at least 2 years of professional / hands--on experience
Candidates are require to have experience with one or more of the following:
FRACAS or FMECA experience
-Strong Computer Skills including MS Office.
-Experience with performing reliability predictions.
-Experience with RELEX / RelM (or similar software tools).
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-Candidate should be an analytical thinker with demonstrated ability of solving complex problems which require ingenuity and innovations.
-Candidate should be a self-starter capable of performing assigned tasks with little or no direction and interface well with other program disciplines.
-Strong Electrical background with good Mechanical understanding.
-Experience with FRACAS data mining.
-Experience with reliability testing such as HALT, HASS, and RQT.
-Knowledge of the interpretation of engineering drawings, schematics, test requirements and repair procedures
-Proven presentation skills for Leadership and Customer briefings.
-Working knowledge of Earned Value Management processes.
-Missile Launch Detector system level operation and maintenance experience.
-Working knowledge of depot repair process for complex electronic circuits and assemblies.
-Experience in a production / manufacturing environment.
