Our client, a local beverage manufacturer, is looking for a maintenance technician to add to their growing team. The maintenance technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment.
Duties include:


  • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of equipment during machine service.


  • Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.


  • Utilize skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment repair and troubleshooting.


  • Read and interpret equipment manuals.


  • Diagnose problems, replace and repair parts, test and make adjustments.


  • Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.


  • Perform a variety of plumbing and carpentry functions.


  • Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.


  • Detect faulty operations and defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.


  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.


  • Create and refine SOPs for industrial equipment.


  • Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the facility's equipment.



    Qualifications:


    • High School diploma/GED, or an equivalent number of years of education and production experience.


    • 4+ years of manufacturing experience; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical, and industrial skills with some PLC experience and HVAC.


    • Ability to read and understand plans, blueprints and schematics.



      Preferred Qualifications:


      • An AA degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance


      • Production equipment and PLC experience.


      • 5+ years of experience in a production and manufacturing environment.
