Utilizing proper procedures and documentation in handling the following: Comps, room charges, credit cards, officer's checks and coupons Voids and walkouts Cash tickets Head counts Proper required identification and authorization Over-rings Pick-up bank at Cage; count all monies at Cage and verify with cage personnel. Proper completion of cash turn-in sheets, voids, etc., with appropriate distribution. Keep register area clean and neat. Contact supervisor immediately for any guest complaints. Seat guests and present clean menus. May be required to pull chairs out for guests or arrange tables for large parties. Monitor the waiting line to ascertain if there are large parties waiting. Ensure tables are properly set to start each shift. Collect and inspect all menus, discarding worn ones. As the guests depart, thank them for dining in our restaurant and extend an invitation to dine with us again. Must have basic math skills. Ability in establishing and maintaining an effective working relationship with staff. Required to understand the concept of cash handling, making change and counting it back to the customer. Pleasant personality, team oriented and enjoys working with and assisting people. Must be at least 21 years of age.
