Our EIS team is looking for a technology leader (Information Security Manager 2 - ISM2) who will manage the Enterprise Risk and Infrastructure Management Team . This role will involve leading teams of subject-matter experts to build and manage the application infrastructure for security sensitive applications. This manager will report to the Endpoint Security Manager and works closely with peer security application teams. The ideal candidate for the Information Security Manager 2 will: Manage a team of engineers to support security application infrastructure Ensure operational reviews and risk assessments are performed Evaluate risks and prioritize vulnerability management and remediation efforts Integrate continuous improvement with metrics and monitoring Advanced knowledge of server operating systems such as Linux or Windows. Highly experienced with operating system and application hardening best practices Proficient in working with applications systems, server hardware and networks Ability to manage large application systems and develop innovative solutions to manage large-scale environment efficiently and securely Demonstrated issue resolution and negotiation skills Knowledge and understanding of Shell scripting to automate repeat tasks Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills Ability to handle confidential material in a professional manner Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Knowledge and understanding of banking or financial services industry Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy Ability to present complex material in a digestible, consumable manner to all levels of management As a Team Member Manager, you are expected to achieve success by leading yourself, your team, and the business. Accomplish management responsibilities which include sourcing and hiring talented team members, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing and developing team members, identifying and managing risks, and completing daily management tasks.Required Qualifications7+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: information security, IT systems security or technology experience that includes 2+ years direct experience in information security2+ years of leadership experience in an Information Security or IT environment5+ years of build-deploy automation and configuration experience within the Linux and Unix environment5+ years of experience with server infrastructure technology including HP and Dell Server Hardware5+ years of performance tuning experience3+ years of experience with data analysis and documentation3+ years of scripting experience using Windows Powershell, Unix Shell Scripting, Perl, Python, Java or PL-SQL3+ years of experience engineering and analyzing server-based operating systems such as Windows or Unix3 + years of experience gathering business requirements from various sources including end-users and stakeholders3+ years of Server experience1+ years of experience interviewing and making hiring recommendations Desired QualificationsExperience managing a technology infrastructure function, application or information security function that has impact across multiple lines of businessExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to effectively influence and interact with all levels of an organization1+ year of JIRA experienceKnowledge and understanding of AgilePuppet experienceExperience customizing Splunk Dashboards via the XML sourceExperience creating dashboards and reporting formatsAbility to perform statistical and performance analyticsExperience with information security and risk management including: policy and standards, information security assessment, and mitigation solution design and implementation Other Desired Qualifications Experience with datacenter automation using tools such as Puppet, Ansible, etc. DisclaimerAll offers for employment with Wells Fargo are contingent upon the candidate having successfully completed a criminal background check.
