The company's Managed Services division revolutionizes banking technology through cloud-delivered infrastructure, security and IT systems to help financial institutions remain competitive, compliant and profitable.Salary of Senior Linux Engineer : 130,000 per year + 20% Bonus + benefits.Responsibilities of Senior Linux Engineer :Installation and maintenance of Enterprise Servers and Server SecurityAnalyzing and implementing server operating systemsWorking with Microsoft/Linux and other industry-based technologies in a maintenance/process improvement capacityImplementing and monitoring of management softwarePerform and assist in performing of the configuration, staging, installation and ongoing support of client server environmentsEstablish and document best-practice procedures in areas of expertisePerform onsite technical assistance in various capacities at customer locations as neededProvide technical assistance to any other departments or divisions of the company as neededParticipate in the development of new applications or enhancements of existing products and servicesDisaster Recovery and Incident Response PlanningIdeal candidate for Senior Linux Engineer position will possess:Minimum six years relevant experience with Red Hat Linux operating systemMinimum five years' operating systems management and troubleshooting experienceMinimum four years technical experience with installing, configuring and supporting enterprise-server class hardwareProficient knowledge of utilizing Linux Performance monitor on various servers operating systems and applicationsProficient knowledge of client server environments, network, and client operating systemsProven ability to apply knowledge in a variety of environmentsFamiliarity with, or an ability to learn, security practicesAutomate routine system configuration task using tools such as Puppet, Ansible, ChefProject Management skillsComfortable with version control tools like GitAn understanding of database management systems such as MySQLProven ability to lead initiatives interacting with staff across departmental levelsExcellent written and oral communication skillsCertificationsCurrent Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification or the ability to obtain in the first year of employment.Company DescriptionAsset Management Funds
