Rail Europe provides a cost and time-effective and seamless travel experience by enabling travelers to plan and book their European travel details in advance and with ease. We are currently seeking a Junior Accountant. As a Junior Accountant you will record journal entries in SUN, issue rebilling invoices, follow up on payment and prepare monthly reconciliation's. You will also act as backup to the Accounts Payable Coordinator as needed. The description may be subject to change based on the needs of the department. Responsibilities: • Records various journal entries including cash receipts, intra bank transfers and backup to payroll • Serves as liaison between General Ledger and Accounts Receivables to ensure proper receipt of credit card deposits. • Prepares monthly Prepaid and Recurring entries and upload others as necessary • Prepares various AR and other reconciliations and research outstanding items. • Maintain invoice log and review on a weekly basis to ensure that payments have been made • Run AP Aging twice a week and review to make sure that approved invoices have been brought in for payment • Serves as back up for Accounts Payable Coordinator entering invoices, PO s, follow up and preparing checks and wire transfers • Serve as backup for processing expense reports in Concur • Prepares monthly rebilling invoices to partners and follow up as needed.

• Print Commission checks and Agencies statements received from VSCT after month's end. • Records invoices and payments for SNCFA. • Prepare Eurostar reports during transition period • Assists in various tasks and projects as assigned by the Manager or Chief Accountant Salary Range Depending on Experience: $38,500 - $42,500 Education and Experience: Associate Degree in Accounting and two years' experience in the field desirable Core Competencies: Proficient in Excel and Word. Ability to take directions and learn new systems. Must be flexible and deadline driven. Familiarity with Accounting Software. To Apply:
