JOB TITLE:Field Service Engineer

REPORTS TO:Field Service Manager

FUNCTIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:Customer, field service specialists, senior CSE, CSE, service management team, technology groups, coordinators, sales teams.

JOB HOLDER:

MISSION:

1.Provide field serviceforequipment at customer sites throughout assigned territory.This will include installation and repair.

2.Provide customer management through commercial awareness, focusing on retention and growth.

3.Works comfortablyin aremote environment, isselfmotivated/organized, and operateswithout the need for direct supervision/guidance.

MAIN ACTIVITIES:

Provide field service for equipment at customer sites throughoutassigned territory.

a.Provide onsite technical training on operation,repair and maintenance of companyproducts.

b.Diagnose troubleshoot and repair system problems at customer sites.

c.Carryout preventative maintenance service to maximize uptime in line with customer production schedules and equipment specifications.

d.Provide telephone technical support..

Provide customer management through commercial awareness, focusing on retention and growth.

a.Displays total account management by focusing on what needs to be done and taking the appropriate action.

b.Initiating proactive action on behalf of the customer.

c.Provideclosed loop feedback on all escalated customer actions.

d.Developcustomer relationships that breed loyalty.

e.Actively promotes the features and benefits ofcompanyproductsand aftermarket range.

f.Actively engages other areas of the business when opportunities exist.

g.Understanding the customers needs and aligning companyresources to deliver value.

Contributepositively andproactively to thesupport team.

a.Performs all administrative work related tasks in a timely manner.

b.Manageparts inventory for accuracy and install base profile.
