Adecco Direct Placement Services is assisting a client located in Southern West Virginia (Kanawha Valley area) in filling the position of a Regional Store Manager. If you have a passion for coaching and managing others to exceed expectations and want to work for a company that improves the lives of those around you, we would like to speak with you! Our client is a non-profit agency that takes profits from their store and invests it in training for people of all walks of life. They help serve the communities in which they are located and are in need of a Regional Store Manager to help them reach their goals.

As a Regional Store Manager, your responsibilities will include:

*Establishing interpersonal relationships with all levels of workers including: Store managers, Associate workers and Volunteers

*Responsible for achieving budgeted sales and net income goals within assigned region

*Regular visits to all stores within the region to evaluate inventory, appearance, productivity and to advise on any issues that need addressed

*Coach and mentor store managers and associates to ensure everyone is properly trained in their respective responsibilities

*Assist with interviewing and on-boarding of new hires

*Make recommendations to stores with declining performance to bring sales back to budgetary expectations



Qualifications:

*Bachelor degree in Business, Marketing or Retail OR Equivalent experience in a similar role

*Excellent interpersonal, writing and speaking skills

*Strong mathematical abilities including: adding, subtraction, multiply and divide all types of numbers

*Strong computer skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Windows applications

*Ability to meet the physical demands of the job including: Walking or sitting for prolonged periods, Frequent lifting of up to 25lbs, Strong visual ability and ability to listen to your surroundings

*Ability to travel throughout the region



The ideal candidate for this position will be a compassionate leader with a focus on Diversity, Quality, Dependability, Reasoning and Problem Solving. A background in retail management is desirable. This position includes a comprehensive benefits package, 401K and paid time off. Incumbent may be required to work evenings and/or weekends as needed.

There are Two (2) Territories in need of a Regional Store Manager (all in WV).

*Northern Region Cities: Vienna, Ripley, Charleston and Elkview

*Southern Region Cities: Kanawha City, Beckley, Oak Hill, Summersville and Lewisburg
