<span><span style="color:#000000;background-color:transparent;font-family:Times New Roman;font-size:12pt;font-weight:normal;font-style:normal;">Job Title: Programmer / Analyst - Financials<br>&nbsp;<br>Our client, one of the largest restaurant companies in the U.S. and headquartered here in Syracuse, New York has an opening for a highly motivated Programmer/Analyst who is familiar with the configuration and support of ERP Finance Application modules. &nbsp;Candidates will be supporting PeopleSoft applications and related interfaces to other systems. <br>&nbsp;<br>Minimum Requirements of Programmer / Analyst position:<br>&bull;A 4-year degree or equivalent experience.<br>&bull;A minimum of 5 years&rsquo; experience working with ERP applications and a significant programming background. &nbsp;<br>&bull;Strong work experience with the MS Office Suite, SQL, Oracle relational D/B, and exposure to web based development is required. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>&bull;The ideal candidate is expected to have effective verbal and written communication skills, and ability to interact with functional users and I/S professionals. &nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<br>Responsibilities: <br>&bull;Analysis and programming of PeopleSoft Version 9.1 Finance Modules (G/L, A/P, Assets, Purchasing, Projects) &ndash; will train candidates with other Financial ERP module experience.<br>&bull;Gather and document requirements.<br>&bull;Test enhancements; work with end users to ensure accuracy.<br>&bull;Complete PeopleSoft module upgrades.<br>&nbsp;<br>Required: <br>&bull;Relational Data Base with Oracle as primary including stored procedures<br>&bull;SQR (or similar language)<br>&bull;MS Office Suite<br>&nbsp;<br>Additional Desired Skills: <br>&bull;Knowledge of PeopleSoft E-Performance module<br>&bull;Microsoft SSRS, SQL Server D/B and stored procedures<br>&bull;MS Visual Studio and .Net Development<br>&bull;Exposure to Sarbanes Oxley controls covering software life cycle management<br>&nbsp;<br>Our client promotes a great work/life balance through there 37.5 hour work week, comfortable work environment, and excellent benefits.
