Mercy Philadelphia Hospital is currently seeking a full-time (72 hours bi-weekly)Surgical Technician for the Operating Room.
The Surgical Technician functions primarily as a member of the surgical team, and performs specific duties in an operating room or other areas of asepsis under the direction and continuous supervision of qualified professional nurses and surgeons. The responsibilities include skillful performance of selected duties before, during and after an operation as a scrub or circulating assistant, in conformance with institutional Mission and Philosophy and AORN Standards.
Requirements: High School graduate or equivalent. Completion of a Surgical Technician program approved by the National Board of Surgical Technical & Assisting or Surgical Technician certification preferred. BCLS certification required.
