Engineer III

Marriott International is seeking a seasoned Engineer III to join our Engineering & Maintenance team, supporting our expansive portfolio of over 8,000 properties worldwide. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining the safety, functionality, and aesthetic integrity of our facilities, ensuring exceptional service and quality that aligns with our celebrated heritage in hospitality. This position requires a deep understanding of building systems, preventative maintenance, and guest service in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Perform advanced troubleshooting and repairs of hotel equipment, plumbing, electrical, HVAC and other infrastructure systems to ensure operational efficiency and safety. Conduct regular inspections and ensure compliance with safety and building regulations and codes. Coordinate and oversee external contractors, ensuring standards and timelines are met. Contribute to sustainability initiatives through energy management and innovative engineering solutions. Collaborate with hotel management and other departments to enhance guest experience and resolve any facility-related concerns. Monitor and report on maintenance issues, improvements, and expenditures, maintaining budget considerations and operational performance. Proficiency in HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to lead and manage projects. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with building management systems and energy efficiency technologies.
