Drax Group plc is seeking a skilled E&I Technician to join our innovative team in the energy sector. This role focuses on the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and instrumentation equipment. The E&I Technician will ensure optimal operation that supports Drax's mission of enabling a zero carbon, future-oriented energy system. This position requires technical expertise, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment. Perform routine and preventive maintenance of electrical and instrumentation equipment. Install new E&I systems and equipment following industry best practices and safety standards. Troubleshoot and repair faults in E&I systems. Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize plant performance. Document all maintenance activities and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. Participate in safety briefings and ongoing technical training sessions. Proficiency with electrical and instrumentation systems in the energy sector. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret technical diagrams and manuals.
