Physical Therapy Assistant

Sports Physical Therapy (SPT) is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team of healthcare professionals in assisting patients to recover from injuries and improve their athletic performance. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in administering therapy treatments under the direction of our physical therapists and will help design programs that are tailored to our patients' individual wellness and recovery needs. Assist physical therapists in the development and implementation of rehabilitation programs for patients. Help patients perform specific exercises as part of the plan of care. Observe and report on patients' responses to treatment and communicate this effectively to the supervising therapist. Utilize various therapy techniques and equipment safely and effectively to aid patient recovery. Maintain patient records, documenting treatment progress and outcomes. Educate patients and their families about post-treatment care and exercises. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to follow directives and collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals Knowledge of therapeutic techniques and treatments Capable of handling physical demands of assisting patients during therapy sessions 401k Current Physical Therapy Assistant license CPR and first aid certification, particularly for healthcare providers
