Ainsley Search Group is hiring a Site Quality Engineer--for a Global Manufacturer specialized in custom, product for the commercial transportation industry based in Windham County in CT. The ideal candidate will report to the Plant Manager and dotted line to Corporate Quality Director, plan, execute and manage quality activities involving root cause analysis, corrective action, quality document control, internal audits, process improvement, etc. for the CT plant. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with lucrative compensation and benefit, in addition, the company would like to develop the right individual to become the Site Quality Manager in the near future. Responsibilities: -- Report to the Plant Manager to manage, develop and improve the quality systems for the local plant, support process improvement, root cause analysis, corrective action and related quality activities for the manufacturing site, ensure quality compliance with corporate and customer standard.-- Diagnose process and quality related issue across incoming materials, equipment, production and engineering, implement root-cause analysis and corrective actions to resolve bottleneck, drive continuous improvement and drive changes across company to improve quality standard, further achieve process improvement and quality compliance. -- Interact and collaborate with site QA Technicians and other cross functional teams to support, resolve customer quality issues and customer complaints, reduce re-work, return and recurring quality issues. -- Collect, analyze, and communicate quality data, non-conformance data, provide recommendations for process and quality improvement to business partners (Engineers, Production Associates, Management, Operations, Sales, Suppliers, etc.).-- Plan and lead internal audits, supplier audits, and support customer audits, maintain proper documentation on audits and develop corrective plans.-- Analyze process flows and identify enhancements of quality, cost reduction and throughput.-- Conduct root cause and process analysis for re-work/return products, identify bottleneck and recommend revision on process to reduce recurring re-work and non-conformance issues.-- Communication with customers on a regular basis regarding customer specification, quality issue, customer audits, etc.-- Monitor QA and inspection process on the production floor, observe and document manufacturing process and analyze manufacturing data; maintain a regular communication with internal staffs to educate staffs regarding process changes, quality and improvement plan.-- Formulate testing procedure, oversee testing, incoming, first article inspection, document inspection and test results accordingly. -- Collaborate with other regional plants and corporate to standardize quality standard, process, etc. -- Maintain, improve, and implement document control in compliance with company QMS policy.Qualifications:-- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience. -- 5+ years of experience working as a Quality Engineer, Process Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer or Industrial Engineer--in manufacturing industry, exposure to project-based manufacturing process, fabrication, assembly, machining, etc. -- Experience with blueprints, GD&T Principles, tolerance, gauge reproducibility and repeatability, auditing techniques, strong mechanical aptitude.-- Excellent people and communication skills, able to motivate employees to adapt and patriciate changes and improvement.-- Able to work independently and under limited supervision; creative and proactive in problem solving.-- Strong analytical skills and decision-making skills.?Compensation and benefits:-- Competitive base salary-- Health, dental and vision -- Paid holidays-- Paid vacations -- Life Insurance -- Long-term/short-term disabilities-- 401k with match
