Responsibilities Provides expertise in the formulation of systems scope and objectives relative to the business plan and industry requirements. Determines operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats. Analyzes business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business information processing systems, such as production and inventory control systems, financial tracking systems, call center management and human resources systems. Works independently or as a member of a project team responsible for providing technical guidance related to the business implications of the application of various systems. Provides business support services that enable CIO/G6 strategies and ensures compliance with relevant laws, regulations and policies pertaining to CIO/G6 resources. The result of these efforts ensure that the enabling functions such as budget, procurement, governance, asset management, policies, and associated quality controls are in place to support the technical functions of the Office of the CIO/G6. Ensures funding strategies are aligned with current/future initiatives and report on any risks, issues, or opportunities related to these strategies. Implements procedures for correlating, manipulating, and presenting budget data for the purpose of auditing and tracking of financial management data. Prepares and routes funding documents and support agreements for approval. Monitors funds utilization using spend plans, budget execution reports, and similar data to ensure the timely execution of IT budget obligations. Devises and/or modifies procedures to solve technical problems related to computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time and form of desired results. Creates detailed specifications from which programs will be written. QualificationsRequires 8 to 10 years with BS/BA or 6 to 8 years with MS/MA or 3 to 5 years with PhD. Salary Minimum: $74,380.80 Salary Maximum:$158,995.20 The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Perspecta's total compensation package for employees.
