Description: Proxsys Rx operates retail pharmacies on local hospital campuses and is seeking qualified candidates for this unique position of Front End Coordinator. This position is responsible for greeting and assisting every customer/patient with courtesy and professionalism as the "Face of the Pharmacy." Additionally, this position coordinates the front end (non-pharmaceutical) inventory of the pharmacy, ordering, stocking, merchandising, balancing the register, maintaining records, etc. Works collaboratively with the pharmacy staff in order to communicate effectively with the customer. The pharmacy is open Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM and closed Saturday and Sunday.Qualifications Include:-- Above average customer service skills with at least 3 years customer service experience,-- At least 3 years of retail experience, pharmacy or other healthcare very helpful,-- Must be high energy and team oriented,-- Strong computer skills and experience, excel proficiency preferredPosition offers an excellent salary and benefits including medical, dental, vision and life insurance, 401(k) with match, and Paid Time Off.Job Type: Full-timeEssential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Welcome customers/patients upon entry and identify needs,
  • Answer incoming calls and direct to appropriate pharmacy staff for clinical needs; field questions and/or complaints from customers/patients,
  • Serve as runner in support of the discharge program, as needed,
  • Request new patient information and current insurance card,
  • Present hardcopy prescriptions or refill prescription label to pharmacy for filling after verifying pertinent information,
  • Offer patients the opportunity for a consultation with a pharmacist, inform them of HIPAA rights, and obtain signatures for all prescriptions received,
  • Process transactions through the POS,
  • Maintain charge accounts and inform Pharmacist-in-Charge of discrepancies,
  • Balance POS, reconcile transactions, and complete end-of-day paperwork,
  • Make bank deposits and submit bank receipts and invoice logs with receipts each weekly,
  • Create and maintain a good impression of the store by straightening displays, cleaning counters and shelving, and restocking as necessary,
  • Work with management to maintain sufficient levels of inventory and maintain storage area/overstock,
  • Ensure all information regarding markdowns and promotions are communicated to other pharmacy staff,
  • Place over-the-counter (OTC) order electronically and receive in POS once delivered,
  • Prepare all OTC, gift, and convenience items according to procedure prior to placement,
  • Change promotional displays as instructed,
  • Maintain inventory integrity by updating inventory on new shipments and regularly spot check inventory levels throughout the store, and

Requirements: Education/Experience - High School diploma or equivalent, and 3 years of retail experience.Language Ability - Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
