Join our industry-leading Training and Development team at Enova to serve NMC CAT and its Customers! The Diesel Service Technical Trainer will be responsible for development, coordination and facilitation of Caterpillar technical systems training for NMC technicians and Customers. This role will focus on the areas of foundational systems (electrical, electronic, hydraulic, powertrain, and AC), new product introduction, heavy equipment, trucks and engines (electrical, diagnostic, on-highway powertrains, emission solutions), failure analysis and salvage guidelines, and customer solutions training. This position will be catering to a vast skill set of technicians from foundational to advanced level. The training provided will be conducted in a classroom/lab setting. As a Technical Trainer with Enova, you can expect to: - Facilitate learning in classroom, on-the-job and electronic settings, managing all aspects of the learning environment. - Design and develop training courses, including course content, instructor's guides, training aids, handouts, hands-on activities and assessments. Revise existing courses and update materials based on changes in technology and equipment. - Collaborate with product support management, technical communicators, manufacturer representatives, service managers, and branch managers to ensure training needs are being met and establish training objectives focusing on competencies and increased productivity and business unit goals. - Coordinate class rosters, schedules, equipment, facilities and evaluation data related for scheduled courses and other activities related to area of expertise, and utilize the CAT Dealer Performance Center (DPC) and SuccessFactors (SF) learning management system. - Keep current on specific areas of expertise, to remain a subject-matter expert within area of specialization; participate in independent study, coursework and on-the-job activities relevant to area of specialty, including one-on-one consultation with active technicians.
