Responsibilities The Lead Financial Analyst will have significant responsibility for the preparation and coordination of AVANGRID''s quarterly 10-Q/10-K SEC filings, prepare monthly reporting on AVANGRID''s Corporate reporting unit under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and participate in other financial reporting needs of the Consolidation department. This position will have no direct reports. Key Responsibilities: Process and review 10-Q/10-K support for completeness and accuracy and ensure information is accurately entered into the documents Coordinate the request and receipt of information across the business to complete the 10-Q/10-K Organize and maintain all supporting schedules and documentation to support 10-Q/10-K reporting and satisfy SOX control requirements Prepare monthly Corporate financial reporting and accompanying financial statement analysis under IFRS for use by AVANGRID''s parent company, Iberdrola Prepare assigned tabs for the IFRS Reporting Package which supports Iberdrola''s financial statement reporting Support other financial reporting needs of the department as neededSkills and Requirements Bachelor''s Degree in Accounting required 3+ years of experience in preparation or audit of financial statements required Public accounting experience desired with ''Big 4'' and/or SEC experience preferred Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP is required Knowledge of SEC reporting requirements and IFRS are preferred Experience with BPC, SAP and/or Workiva is preferred Strong analytical and problem solving abilities are required Strong communication skills, both spoken and written are requiredAVANGRID employees may be assigned a system emergency role and in the event of a system emergency, may be required to work outside of their regular schedule/job duties.AVANGRID''s employment practices and policies are geared to hiring a diverse workforce and sustaining an inclusive culture.
