Successfully meet the needs of patients and families by delivering excellent patient care, performing a variety of mammography procedures in a compassionate and safe manner. Maintains compliance with the Mammography Quality Standards Act and all Federal, State and Regional regulations. Performs exams, and prepares and maintains records and files in accordance with ACR and MQSA established practices and procedures. Responsibilities: Prepare patient for Imaging exams by reviewing provider orders and notes, confirming correct exam to be performedAccurately assessing patient's needs, positioning patient appropriately for exam and providing patient educationPerform quality exams by operating applicable Imaging equipment competently including data acquisition, image manipulation and reconstruction, and quality control measures to ensure optimal quality diagnostic images and monitoring patient throughout the examMaintain accurate patient records by completing correct and timely entries in all electronic health systems (i.e. HIS/RIS, PHA, PACS) and department specific programs Qualifications: ARRT (R)(M) - ARRT registration in Radiology and MammographyBLS certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 mo. of start date, company paid)Two years mammography experience preferred Schedule: Casual/CallVarying Day/Shifts Must be able to work a minimum of one shift every two months Northfield Hospital & Clinics is an independent organization with over 800 employees.
