Job Description Provide server management, including underlying hardware, Operating System (OS), and virtualizationhypervisor layer. Management expectations include installation, configuration, maintenance, upgrades, database administration, and refresh. - Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products (both remote and onsite) and for configured services running on various platforms (operating within a defined operating model and processes). Provide hardwaresoftware support and implement technology at the operating system-level across all server and network areas, and for particular software solutionsvendorsbrands. Server Management Qualifications Education Higher Level Qualification (e.g. degree) in a technical subject is desirable Vendor certifications are desirable but not essential . Work Experience 8-10 years or more experience in hardware management work and technologies Experience with Ethernet switching or routing products Experience using PCB layout tools (Cadence OrCAD and Allegro preferred) Intermediate level Verilog or VHDL coding for FPGACPLD Familiar with CC++Assembly as required to develop, test and debug embedded system designs Validation of design via writing, compiling and execution of test code, drivers Experience with tools used for physical modeling of the board, e.g. Hyperlynx, HFSS, Ansoft, CST andor AWR Work Requirements Work out of hours evenings, nights, weekends, bank holidays at reasonable request to perform production changes Knowledge and Skill Requirements Essential Knowledge and Skills 10+ years' hardware development experience in a communications-related product design Experience in 1G10G25G100G Ethernet or other high-speed digital designs Experience with a variety of local buses and interfaces - PCIe, SATA, DDR34, SGMII, RXAUI, etc. Use of CAD design tools for schematic entry and library creation (Cadence OrCAD preferred) Validation of design via physical measurements and functional test Experience working with FAB House and PCB Designer to generate stackups Experience with tuning and validation of boards Eligible for Public Trust clearance Experis is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOEAA)
