EEO Employer M/F/Disabled/Vet Position Description: To maintain all OHP facilities and equipment in a manner that provides a safe environment for patients and staff, is compliant with all applicable codes and regulations, insures staff can provide efficient patient care and presents a positive image of the Olathe Health System. #Additionally, the following expectations shall apply. #Performs appropriate trouble-shooting and repair techniques to keep electrical systems operational, including a variety of high and low voltage systems. #Performs appropriate trouble-shooting and repair techniques to keep plumbing systems operational, including medical gas systems. #Performs appropriate trouble-shooting and repair techniques to keep mechanical systems operational and functioning properly. #Employee is familiar with a variety of different types of Building Automated Control Systems used for climate control purposes. #Performs appropriate trouble-shooting and repair techniques to keep equipment operational, including, but not limited to Electric/Manual Patient Exam Tables, Wheelchairs, and a variety of other pieces of equipment required for patient care. Performs Adds, Moves and Changes to clinic electronic equipment to include but not limited to telephone systems, biomedical equipment, printers, fax machines and copiers. #Performs Adds, Moves and Changes of telephone, data, coaxial and other related low voltage cabling. #Demonstrates appropriate ability using a variety of resources including but not limited to operational manuals and diagrams, test equipment, and tools for trouble-shooting and repair purposes. #Employee is able to determine what types of equipment or tools are necessary to make safe and appropriate repairs on a variety of systems and equipment and shall consistently demonstrate a working knowledge on how to use them for the intended purpose. #Assists contractors and tradesmen to complete new installations, repairs and maintenance as required. #Works with a TEAM approach in mind to get assignments completed on a routine basis, and as per schedule requirements. #Recognizes the priority assignments are completed as they are scheduled. #Actively participates in routine Safety inspections to identify and correct any and all concerns in a timely manner. #Recognizes issues which need to be addressed, and prioritizes them appropriately. #Routinely keeps work areas and maintenance vehicles clean, organized, and functional. #Thoroughly completes all paperwork in a timely manner. #Employee is able to appropriately use computer systems to complete work orders and related maintenance purposes.
