This role is responsible for generation of leads, building of relationships and closing contracts with real estate developer clients.--The preferred candidate will have a network of existing developer relationships.Nationwide Energy Partners (NEP) is a rapidly growing smart property platform provider for multi-family communities based in Columbus, Ohio.--NEP delivers innovative energy, water, wifi, and smart apartment products and services specific to the multi-family industry.--NEP offers a dynamic, fast paced startup environment with opportunity for rapid growth and personal development.--We provide competitive wages with an unlimited commission structure and the opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a growth opportunity.----Make an impact through these primary responsibilities:Builds and manages a pipeline of new business development opportunities ultimately targeting a closed sale. This will include new construction, conversion, and buyback opportunities.--Actively manages and updates the business development stage progress using Salesforce.----Develops and maintains a network of lead gen providers and/or referral sourcesCoordinates new business proposals and presentations using standardized company collateral.Works with the NEP Legal team to coordinate required contractsPartners with the on-boarding and account management teams to ensure customers receive high quality and timely support during the on-boarding process and on-going through account management.Expands existing and new customer relationships by cross selling new products and services to existing customers, and selling other portfolio communities.Provides marketing with prospect and client feedback as well to improve campaigns, events and trade show performance as well as identify local marketing and advertising opportunities in target markets.Regularly attends and participates in defined association, events and trade show opportunities, generating goodwill and awareness of NEP value prop.Manage T&E below established budget within business development.Leverage the following experience in pursuit of our collective goals:--Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Construction, or a related discipline.--At least ten (10)--years of sales experience in real estate, multi-family products/services, or management consulting.--Must live within the greater Columbus, Ohio area and must be able to travel on a regular basis. Ability to successfully work remote is critical.--Proven ability to generate new business opportunities in new markets and multiple geographies necessary.--Nationwide Energy Partners is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
