Description:The Subcontract Associate Manager will support Special Operations Forces Systems with global supply chain management. The SPM Associate Manager will negotiate subcontract provisions, prepare and review subcontract proposals and process manage orders in accordance with applicable FAR/DFAR regulatory guidelines. The SPM Manager will be the lead global supply chain manger interfacing with suppliers. The SPM Associate Manager will support Special Operations Forces Systems with global supply chain management. The SPM Associate Manager will manage the GLSS enterprise direct commodity buying team and ensure that commodity buying activities are optimized, the procurements are meeting program requirements, and Customer need dates. The SPM Associate Manager will manage daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual team metrics and provide timely feedback to the team members, as well as be prepared to brief status to leadership as required. The SPM Associate Manager will ensure that all direct commodity buying team procurements are performed and documented in compliance with the FAR, DFARS, Lockheed Martin Acquisition Procedures, and GLSS Work Procedures.Basic Qualifications:Highly organized and able to work independently in a fast paced environment with limited supervision. Highly proficient in FAR/DFARS/Truthful Cost or Pricing Data regulatory requirements. Bachelors Degree in Business or relevant field. Previous experience managing subcontract support for DOD prime contracts. Capable of leading a team using the tenants of full spectrum leadership, managing by metrics to optimize the GLSS enterprise commodity buying activities, and train the team as required.Desired Skills:MBA or graduate school in related business field. Experience with LMAP and internal Lockheed Martin P2P/SAP. Negotiation and conflict resolution experience.
