  • Prior professional experience
  • A college degree
  • Been out of the workforce at least 24 months with a desire to returnThis non-benefited program will last up to 12 weeks. While not guaranteed, permanent positions may become available to candidates who successfully complete the program. Works collaboratively with organization leadership and department teams, enhancing knowledge, refreshing skills and improving the delivery of quality healthcare. Under guidance, designs and completes a project that will provide development and enhancement within department. Attends training and development opportunities.Possesses knowledge of successful approaches, tools, and techniques for dealing with changes and adapting to a changing environment; ability to adapt as needed.Demonstrates a willingness, interest and ability to enhance one's personal career development. Incorporates new information and concepts quickly, in addition, displays strength in re-learning information in a timely manner. Demonstrates the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Displays the ability to meet deadlines.Department DetailsProvide professional accounting expertise by integrating Generally Accepted Accounting Principals (GAAP), federal regulatory guidelines, and organizational objectives into the organization's Accounting function. Accountant is responsible for all aspects of financial reporting and maintaining the general ledger system for entities within his or her accountability. Accountant will have primary focus on assisting the accounting and subsidiary teams with ongoing standardization initiatives, and ad-hoc projects relating to financial reporting.QualificationsAssociate or bachelors degree required.Minimum five years relevant experience preferred. Individuals who have been out of the structured workforce for 24 months or longer required.Experience in healthcare industry preferred.
