Efficient project management is a core competency for this position, which is responsible for a high volume of output in a fast-paced environment.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDigital content creation and promotion (from planning to completion, on deadline, collaborating across multiple departments) under supervision of the Communications Manager and Sr. Graphic Designer. Includes social media, web content, Mailchimp, etc.Maintains marketing calendar and editorial calendarCoordinates content, drafts articles for bi-monthly newsletter and monthly calendarAssists with web updates as assigned by Creative ManagerReports on marketing activities quarterly (and as needed)Analyzes and reports on digital analyticsPhotography, video capture, and editing for use on digital platformsCoordinate with web host on key word content for blog, web content, and social mediaMarketing research as neededContributes to "marketing" events as needed (this may include events under development, grief, community outreach, etc.)Other admin duties as assignedESSENTIAL SKILLS AND DUTIESSocial media power user: Facebook, Facebook groups, Facebook ads, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Hootsuite, Google analyticsWeb management and Email marketing platforms (Mailchimp or equivalent)Photography, video, and photo editingExcellent grammar and writing skillsPREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCESelf-starterHighly organizedCreative thinkerCollaborativeExcellent communicatorTeam playerPassion for the missionEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCETwo to five years related experience and/or trainingQUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, including meeting the required competencies.
