Posted Jan 27, 2020 Ref HRCOO06772 Industry Manufacturing and Production Role Human Resources Job Type Long-Term Hours Full Time You need to sign in or create an account to save Description The Human Resources Coordinator plays a key role on the HR team in assisting with activities related to recruiting, screening, hiring, performance management, and the employee separation process. This individual will partner with the Learning and Development team and will be responsible for the administration of the learning management system (LMS)/Learning Portal. Specific Duties Include: Provide professional and administrative advice and service to management in support of RDO Equipment Co. HR activities, programs, and initiatives. In consultation with the HR team, serve as a point of coordination and/or liaison on a range of HR processes and procedures. Manage all background screening processes to include drug screen, background checks, management notification and all documentation and communication related to these efforts, including vendor management. Administer my Partner with the HR team on special projects related to performance management, hiring and training initiatives, web-based performance review process, retention, policy development, and other related efforts. Maintain and manage the employee recognition program, employee referral program, and other related internal initiatives. Assist in the creation and distribution of documentation related to the hiring and employee relations functions; including, offer letters, separation letters, performance management documentation, etc. Partner with the HRMS and HR teams to support reporting needs related to web-based human resource management system. Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries and requests. Direct HR related calls or distribute correspondence to the appropriate person of the team Assist with maintaining and updating the employee handbook. Administer Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) reporting. Compile data and track Affirmative Action Plans (AAP). Track and report on hiring, turnover, and other metrics and monitor various trends. Provide overall administration of the LMS to include: load and configure learning objects and training, create course resources and tools, assessments, evaluations, learning plans, onboarding, training calendar, dashboards, Connect, and reporting functionality. Provide first level Learning Portal support and train stakeholders to use the Learning Portal. Communicate and partner with LMS vendor and IT to ensure system accessibility and functionality. Communicate and partner with internal stakeholders to ensure support of learning, tracking, reporting, and accessibility. Assist and test the installation of vendor system updates and upgrades. Compiles and communicates performance metrics for online, eLearning, and ILT courses in order to measure training effectiveness. Set up certifications (such as MSHA) and learning plans for initiatives in the LMS. Manage security roles within LMS to ensure correct access to each user and role. Manage and monitor the emails of Email Administration in the LMS. Create and monitor cases with LMS vendor to address issues. Provide leadership team and managers with Learning Portal reporting, as needed and requested. Partner with the eLearning Specialist in the development and implementation of online learning. Keep current on New LMS features and provide recommendations for future improvements, workflow process, and user experience. Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook. Conduct self in the presence of customers and community so as to present a professional image of RDO Equipment Co. Proactively seek and participate in available company-sponsored training, in an effort to develop and advance knowledge base and skill set. Participate in all company/location driven communication efforts, including open book meetings, huddles, department meetings and other related efforts. Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service. Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner. Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications or related field 1+ years' HR experience and/or internship in a related field preferred Strong computer skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong customer service skills Ability to effectively present information in a clear manner, demonstrate concepts or processes, and respond to questions. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi task Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
