To learn more, please visit: The Role at NFP As the Consultant of Clinical Pharmacy Rx Solutions at NFP, your main responsibilities are developing and administering effective clinical programs to help our clients control their pharmacy spend. Analytics is a key component of this position. You will create useful information out of data that is required to assist the sales and account management team to manage their clients on a daily basis. You will also be responsible for the education of the internal staff in order to advance the VPS s efforts to increase market sha by providing innovative cost-effective benefits designs that help maximize the client s effort to provide an affordable pharmacy benefit while minimizing disruption to the member. Responsibilities * Communicate with internal staff on a daily basis regarding the clinical needs of the client. * Communicate with external clients and brokers with clinical insights and clinical program recommendations. * Represent the company as a clinical pharmacy benefit subject matter expert at conferences, which include public speaking events. * Provide accurate and timely responses to questions from external and internal sources. * Make recommendations based on a client s drug utilization to internal and external stakeholders. * Draft and coordinate various communications for distribution to internal departments and external customers. * Interface with external customers, contacts, various internal departments and with corporate prescription drug vendors to resolve outstanding issues. * Serve as a liaison to VPS PBM partners to resolve problematic clinic issues. * Requirements * Licensed pharmacist in any state. * Ability to travel 10-20% of the time, with occasional overnight trips. * Advanced knowledge in pharmaceutical clinical review practices. * Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. * Excellent research skills with ability to analyze data and communicate findings clearly. * Ability to create effective clinical programs for clients. * Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. * Ability to function independently with minimal supervision. * Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet objectives and deadlines. * Ability to interface with department staff, numerous internal departments, external customers, agents and subscribers. * Preferred_Requirements * Licensed pharmacist in the state of Missouri, preferably a PharmD. * 3+ years experience in clinical consulting and analysis of pharmaceutical products and clinical programs.
