Promotes a positive image of nursing and promotescollegiality among healthcare team members. --C.A.R.E Pool RNs are requiredto work the following: --Hours per Pay Period: Tier IV (Mom/baby RN): Minimum hours,weekend commitment, and demographic location determined by the group and POD inthe HealthONE CARE pool Agreement.--Holiday Requirements: TierIV (Mom/baby RN): 1 Major or 1 minor holiday, and 1 difficult to staff dayannually. Tier IV benefited: 1 Majorand 1 minor holiday, and 1 difficult to staff day annually. --Floating: HealthONEC.A.R.E Pool employees will be required to float to all HealthONE facilitieswithin the chosen pod. C.A.R.E Pool Nurses will be scheduled in units in whichthey have competencies. C.A.R.E Pool Nurses can be placed in a unit below theircompetency level with a modified assignment.Qualifications EducationGraduateof a certified School of Nursing. BSNstrongly preferred.--Licensure/CertificationTier IV (Mom/Baby RN's) are required to have a compact RN license or Colorado RNlicense accepted upon hire, CO license required within 90 days of hire. CurrentBasic Life Support (BLS).NeonatalResuscitation Program (NRP).Associationof Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses Intermediate Fetal MonitorCourse (AWHONN IFMC) required at time of hire.--ExperienceMinimumof at least two years of RN experience in acute care, preferably on apostpartum unit, for Tier IV (Mom/babyRN's).Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:-- Demonstratesgood organizational skills.-- Providessafe and appropriate patient care within the Values & Standards of NursingPractice.
