PRIVATELY OWNED, BUSY THREE DOCTOR PRACTICE NEEDS EXPERIENCED FULL-TIME EXPERIENCED VETERINARY TECHNICIAN. MINIMUM 3 YEARS EXPERIENCE OR CVT OR EQUIVALENT REQUIRED. $250 HIRING BONUS PAID 90 DAYS AFTER HIRE DATE! We're growing and we have expanded our hours! We need to expand our team to continue to serve our clients and patients! Come join our team of talented veterinarians and technicians! Busy, privately owned three doctor practice in Town & Country seeking experienced full-time veterinary technicians. CVT OR EQUIVALENT. MINIMUM OF 3 YEARS experience AS A VETERINARY TECHNICIAN is required. Entry-level technicians or technician assistants are not needed at this time. Recently remodeled clinic inside and out with new blood analyzing equipment, digital radiology, ultrasound and dental unit. SCHEDULING FLEXIBILITY A MUST. Week-end hours are required. Weekday hours until 6 pm, Saturdays until 5 pm Sundays 10 am to 2 pm. Friendly outgoing personality a must. Bilingual Spanish a PLUS. The ideal candidate will be well versed in anesthesia, surgery, dentistry, laboratory testing, hospitalized in-patient nursing and surgical patient recovery, medication dose calculations, patient restraint and client education. They must be a detail oriented person who can make good decisions, respond quickly and calmly to crises, and maintain high standards of patient care. They need to be able to communicate clearly with the doctors, other hospital personnel, and clients to ensure that patients receive the care that they need. Excellent client communication skills and a commitment to outstanding client service and education are essential. Technicians must be able to safely and competently operate including but not limited to laboratory equipment, anesthesia and dental equipment, ultrasound equipment and digital x-ray. Technicians must be able to view physical symptoms or medical problems, read medical instruments, and follow handwritten instructions. They must be able to accurately calculate medication doses.
