Sherwood Family Law is looking for a full-time attorney to join our growing law practice.

People going through a divorce or custody dispute have their lives on the line, and they don't know what they need to do to protect themselves. When a client calls Sherwood Family Law for the first time, we aim to provide an experience that blankets them in an atmosphere of stability and security. We want them to know that we understand their problems, and we have tailored solutions just for them.

Sherwood Family Law guides our clients on a path of self-discovery and make the world a better place by helping our clients become better people and parents through the divorce process.We are looking for someone to join our team who is empathetic, prepared and believes in guiding people through difficult times. Someone that believes that every time a potential client walks through the door, they will leave in a better place because we will help them see their problems and take the steps needed to solve them. Basically a superhero for our clients.

The Position!

Our office currently has three attorneys, one legal assistant and an office receptionist. We are looking for a fourth attorney. We are looking for an attorney who resonates with the above listed mission.

The right candidate will have:

* Family Law Experience: 2 years minimum;

* Excellent working knowledge of Oregon's family law statutes, case law, and local rules;

* Experience appearing in Court and the ability to immediately take the reins on multiple cases;

* Personality: Must have presence, self-confidence, be sincere, and trustworthy. Should be a team player and be level-headed, professional, and not take self or work too seriously. Remain upbeat in difficult times. Hard working, able/willing to work after-hours and weekends when necessary. Be prepared to pull his/her own weight.


Competitive base salary plus bonus structure. Salary includes benefits, employer-assisted health insurance, vacation, OSB dues, PLF coverage, window office, support staff and CLE enrollment.
