Location Seattle, WA Description We are currently seeking a Seattle based UX Designer to work with a global investment bank specialized in digital solutions. We are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States- however, we are not able to sponsor visas at this time. Responsibilities The UX Designer is responsible for translating complex end user and business needs into simple and elegant user experiences. Own the end to end platform experience and are involved in every aspect of the product design process including creation of design concepts, developing interactive prototypes, devising experiments, conducting usability tests, validating assumptions, and building learning platforms that enable our businesses and drive a culture of continuous learning. Collaborates with end-users as well as Product Owners and relies on human-centered design principles to produce high-quality, innovative and user-friendly products Work hand in hand with UX and software engineers to ensure the experiences are implemented as designed and leverages already designed and implemented components to extend the design language and workflow patterns, as required Skills Talented with visual design as they are tech savvy Experience conducting research, design, and building outstanding applications on multiple device and interface types Understand fundamental web languages such as JavaScript, SASSCSS3, HTML5, used for mobile and desktop technologies Visual design skills established through education or experience in a professional creative environment Expert knowledge of user experience design processes and methodology Experience with design and prototyping tools such as Balsamiq, Sketch, Principle, and Adobe Creative Suite An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating visual design capabilities including composition, layout, information hierarchy, typography and color The ability to deliver prototypes at various levels of fidelity Working knowledge using full Office Suite, JIRA, Confluence and other tools used across the AGILE SDLC Qualifications Bachelor's degree in design, human computer interaction, or equivalent professional experience Experience working designing and developing software solutions. Experience working in a software development environment using one of the AGILE SDLC methodologies Proficient with tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe AfterEffects, and Adobe Experience Design (XD) Analytical Skills to assimilate information from a variety of sources, and develop a coherent strategy and product roadmap for meeting those needs.
