Applus Technologies, a leader in the vehicle emission testing industry, is seeking an experienced Spanish speaking Call Center representatives in our Rocky Hill, CT location to provide telephone support for motorists seeking information regarding the Connecticut Motor Vehicle Emissions Inspection Program. Key Duties and Responsibilities include: Professionally respond to inquiries from motorists relating to program rules and requirements, procedures, test results, and station locations. This includes: -Entering each call received into ticketing system -Resolving issues, independently and effectively -Identifying when an escalation to management will result in best overall customer satisfaction for the motorist Professionally interact with inspection station personnel, primarily over the phone, with technical, procedural, and process questions and concerns pertaining to the emissions testing program Open and dispatch service calls for equipment service issues Perform periodic ride-a-longs with Field Service Technicians to develop a better understanding of equipment functions Periodically assist with the company's continual improvement and customer satisfaction initiatives, including participation in the company's Quality Management Systems (QMS) Other duties as needed to ensure smooth operation of the program as assigned by management Qualifications include: High school diploma or equivalent 2 - 4 years working in a Customer Service or Call Center environment Valid driver's license and good driving record Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interface effectvely with co-workers, motorists, DMV and inspection station representatives Ability to work in a fast paced environment Competency with Microsoft Office programs, including basic data entry skills.
