Sr. Product Manager - Device Protection Billing The Sr. Product Manager, Device Protection Billing is responsible for directing the definition and delivery of the subscriber billing capabilities and payment processing for the Mobility and Retail Device Protection products. There are three major capabilities the incumbent is responsible for: collection of deductible and fees, premium subscription billing, and disbursement of funds to subscribers and customers (i.e., refunds, buy-outs, replacement plans, etc.). For each of these major capabilities the Billing Product Manager is responsible for the evolution of the core business process, the supporting technology, and the current performance and operation of the process. The Billing Product Manager will own the relationship with key partners in the billing and payments space. The incumbent will accomplish this role in a highly matrixed organization. The ability to drive outcomes in a cross functional manner is key to this role. Building clarity and purpose and driving results are additional key competencies. Responsibilities: Leads initiatives and partners with cross functional teams to define and evolve Asurion's billing capabilities to support new products, technology, and geographies across both the Mobility and Retail businesses. Transform the current Billing infrastructure, eliminating redundant capabilities and infrastructure so that the target architecture efficiently supports new features, capabilities, and geographies. Ensure the billing and payment capabilities are performing at appropriate service levels with respect to cycle time, defects, etc. (timeliness, accuracy, and completeness) Identify and resolve any operational billing issues, partnering with and working across all operational groups (Billing, Finance, Program Management, Customer Care, Logistics). Establish and develop strategic relationships with key partners in the billing space. (i.e., Payment processors, Billing service providers, and other strategic vendors) Provide ongoing direction to key partners ensuring that our collective roadmaps are aligned. Develop and maintain current state of the art knowledge and understanding of billing capabilities. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred 5+ years of experience in product management/development or related field Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, written, and communication skills Strong selling, relationship, and consultation skills Strong collaboration and cross functional partnership skills; ability to influence internal colleagues from all business functions Subject matter expert on credit card processing, direct debit and e-wallet payments processing. Ability to present complex results and requirements to senior levels, internally and externally Ability to drive and appropriately prioritize client requirements Strong business acumen and financial skills Strong analytical skills and ability to manage large scale projects/programs Intermediate computer skills including MS Office required Up to 20% domestic and international travel required PRO01292 - Nashville - Tennessee - US - 2019/05/01
