JOB REQUIREMENTS - Board: BC in Interventional Radiology
- Licenses: Active Michigan Medical License
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS
- Other Qualifications: Local provider preferred; travel providers considered if able to cover 2+ weeks per month; clean malpractice and license history; NPDB self-query required
Duties & Responsibilities - Perform interventional radiology procedures including angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, needle biopsy, thrombolysis, and uterine fibroid embolization.
- Provide hospital-based IR services during day shifts (7a-5p, Mon-Fri) and participate in Q3 call rotation covering weekdays and weekends.
- Collaborate with a team of 3 physicians and 2 APPs, providing consultation and follow-up care.
- Manage cases involving vascular, orthopedic, gynecologic, and urologic conditions.
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in quality improvement activities.
