United Leasing, Inc., a division of United Companies, is hiring a?Senior Financial Analyst?for our Treasury & Finance team at our Evansville, Indiana corporate headquarters location. This full-time salaried and exempt position is responsible for assisting the Manager of Treasury & Finance (MTF) with detailed financial analyses, projection models, loan document review, and covenant compliance. Performs a detailed review of all recurring Treasury & Finance Department internal/external deliverables. Provides administration of bank accounts, oversees the treasury needs of our Accounting departments, and works to increase the product utilization of our bank partners. Serves as the Company?s advocate for fraud prevention and oversees that proper fraud controls are in place on Company bank accounts.Job Responsibilities Include:
Detail Review: Review monthly reports, including but not limited to bank collateral reports and reports compiled by the Financial and Treasury Analysts (e.g. New Business, Actual vs. Budget, All-In-Rate, Bank Fees, Syndication Analysis, etc.). Review interest expense reconciliations monthly. Assist other Analysts by providing guidance, training, and project completion assistance, as needed.Portfolio Analysis: Monitor, maintain compliance, and perform projections for various financial covenants, such as concentrations, leverage, interest rate coverage, debt service, and others. Prepare Quarterly Compliance Certificates for submission to the Agent Bank(s) as set forth in Credit Agreements. Assist the Financial Analyst (FA) in preparing monthly collateral reporting and send monthly reporting to Management. Continuously improve system reporting capabilities by working with other departments to collect and input more data into the system. Research securitization/non-recourse reporting requirements and work with Information Technology (IT) to ensure that our systems can generate the necessary reports. Review the Quarterly Review PowerPoint presentation slides. Develop yearly interest expense and revenue budgets and all-in rate projections based upon analytical assumptions. Update 5-year projection models as necessary. Create advanced Microsoft Excel business models as directed. Prepare monthly, quarterly and ad hoc portfolio reports and analysis. Assist Manager with analysis on potential portfolio and/or business acquisitions through creating financial projection models and pricing multiple analysis. Provide monthly assistance to other departments as it may relate to Finance. Assist Manager in preparing yearly surveys for various finance publications.Bank Relationship Management: Actively seek new and innovative products and services from Bank Partners to enhance productivity and mitigate risk. Be the project leader on the vetting, implementation, and establishment of new treasury products. Ensure that Policies & Procedures are established for new products and all users are properly trained. Work with Management to ensure best mix, pricing and placement of corporate cash management and merchant services accounts.Security Administration: Oversee security and administration for all company bank accounts. Be the subject matter expert on fraud and oversee that proper fraud controls are in place on Company bank accounts. Monitor compliance on banking/credit card transactions and processes (e.g. NACHA, PCI, etc.) at least annually. Recommend process improvements when applicable. Evaluate online banking authorities and controls to mitigate potential fraud. Meet with each business unit?s Controller quarterly to review bank access for the department and discuss potential treasury product needs. Assist Management with monitoring and controlling segregation of duties with the company?s General Ledger system.Quality & Continuous Improvement: Personally commit to quality in all aspects of work. Provide ?World Class Customer Service? for internal and external customers. Participate in process improvement teams.General: Travel as business needs may require. Education: Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or similar related field is minimally required. Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree and/or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred.Experience:?2-3 years of Accounting/Financial Analysis experience is required. Additional banking, treasury, leasing, and portfolio management experience is preferred.Skills & Abilities:?Knowledge of economic indicators. Knowledge of hedging concepts.
