We are seeking an experienced Internal Audit Manager for our First Quality Enterprises, Inc company . The Internal Audit Manager will be integrally involved assisting in the determination of the adequacy and effectiveness of the companys systems of internal accounting and operating controls. The Internal Audit Manager will review operations and business processes within the company to assess whether they are efficiently and effectively carrying out their functions in accordance with management instructions, policies, and procedures, in a manner consistent with company objectives. This position will report to the Director of Internal Audit and will have exposure to senior management, which provides significant opportunities for growth and career advancement within the Company. The FQ Internal Audit Department is considered a value-added function and this position has involvement in a number of advisory projects in addition to the core assurance internal audit reviews creating significant opportunities for those individuals who enjoy learning new things and variety. Primary responsibilities include: Lead audits and/or participate in the reviews as a contributor. Scope, plan and conduct risk-based financial, operational, and compliance internal audit reviews, including writing of work programs, performing detailed audit planning, executing testing procedures, documenting results, and reviewing the work of team members. Participate in value added projects and targeted reviews. Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls and operating practices. Document audit work performed in accordance with the Department standards. Develop audit findings that include practical recommendations for improvements to policies, procedures and processes. Prepare audit reports and presentations, communicate issues and proposed solutions to management, and agree on management action plans. Follow up with management on audit findings and action plans to ensure timely implementation and completion. Assist with the annual risk assessment. Job Requirements: The ideal candidate should possess the following: ? BA/BS degree in Finance or Accounting ? MBA or other advanced degree, preferred ? CPA, CIA, or CISA required ? 4+ years experience in internal audit, preferably in a consumer products or manufacturing environment ? 6 years of related professional and progressive experience with exposure to Finance in a Corporate environment preferred ? Experience with accounting, consolidation, and reporting systems, SAP preferred ? Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures used in the CPG industry preferred ? Strong knowledge of GAAP ? Understanding of IT controls ? Strong experience in data analytics for problem solving ? Ability to understand and document business processes ? Comfortable addressing all levels within the organization ? Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment ? Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills ? Superior critical thinking and analytical skills ? Travel requirement: Approximately 20-30%, mostly domestic Excellent compensation and benefits, which are effective the first day of employment!
