Employee Records Assistant (FT), TemporaryLebanon, NH, USANewSecretarial/Clerical/Administrative SupportPost Date Jan 29, 2020Requisition # 20000033Purpose:Maintains and safeguards employee records, ensuring orderliness and completeness of manual and scanned files. Provides work references and employment verifications.Key Responsibilities: Maintains employee records on assigned current and terminated employees manually and through scanning. Sort and separate manager files and scan based on guidelines. Sort and destroy any files of terminated employees based on guidelines. Document all file processes as requested by manager. Provides written employee verifications for employment and external work references for assigned current and terminated employees. Makes copies of employee files, making determinations as to what can be sent based on present legal guidelines. Acts as a resource to both employees and others regarding employee records. Independently answers questions within scope of responsibility and follow-up either in person, in writing, or over the telephone. Maintains the log book of employees who review employee records. Sorts incoming mail and distribute as appropriate. Forwards mail to terminated employees. Pulls and sign-outs records for special projects. Sets up record reviews with employees, Employee Relations, and internal supervisors. Assists Human Resources staff by pulling and delivering records. Reviews and provides information via telephone to Human Resources staff. Perform other duties as required or assigned.Minimum Qualifications:
- High school graduate with 1 year of applicable experience required.
- Filing capabilities with attention to detail required.
