A client of ours in suburban Philly is in need of an experienced SAP MM Analyst who can join their strong SAP/IT team. In this position you will focus on supporting and enhancing the company's entire order process within their organization nationwide. This includes being responsible for SAP MM implementations, as well as having a hand in many other projects and areas of SAP as-needed or desired. We are looking for someone who can make significant contributions to the team by way of solutioning ideas, solving pressing business problems and creatively looking for new opportunities to leverage technologies and ideas. Responsibilities As a key MM resource the team will look to you to not only use your expertise to solve problems, but also to work closely with other team members in setting the strategic direction for SAP and to ensure that the organization is leveraging the software to the best possible degree. You will have significant opportunity to work directly with business users and understand their needs and requirements. We are looking for a self-starter who wants to contribute and be heard. In addition, we need someone who can: Design and configuration of new functionality across SAP MM as other third party modules as-required (to be learned over time). Production support of existing MM functionality Discovery, testing and evaluation of new MM functionality Business process analysis, documentation, and presentation. Work closely with many functional areas such as sales, order processing, shipping, logistics, credit, A/R, finance, and more. Translate requirements into detailed specifications. Work with the Development teams. Re-engineering of business processes. Author functional requirements. Qualifications: BS or BA degree in management information systems, computer science, and/or business, or equivalent work experience At least two years of experience in an Information Technology systems analysis function, working with end-users to translate business requirements into systems specifications At least two full life cycle SAP Implementations ABAP debugging experience a plus but not required Experienced in leading / project managing specific pieces of work, people and/or deliverables Experience in Business specifically in processes around wholesale distribution and retail a plus Solid organization, time management, and project estimating skills Willingness and ability to travel as required Please submit your resume if interested as we are talking to candidates immediately for this opportunity.
