Description Job Description Leidos currently has an opening for a Geospatial Intelligence Analyst SSO Team Leader to work in the Las Vegas Nevada area. This is an exciting opportunity to use your leadership experience helping the customer in its mission of national security. In this assignment we provide technical, analytical, management and support services to augment the customer's vital mission. Primary Responsibilities You will provide direct leadership to a security team and others assigned to include disseminate information, interact with program manager and team to help manage change, manage the work flow and climate, and customer satisfaction manage performance, approve performance goals and plans write performance appraisals, and awards provide training opportunities and assist with developing employees skills and guiding careers conduct team meetings, monitor day to day work performance and responsibilities and approve timecards. SSO specific Manage and operate the assigned site SCIF. Provide advice and assistance to affiliated SCIFs in the AOR. Develop and recommend policies related to facilities security, information sharing, classification, personnel access, compartmentation, communications, and dissemination. Manage the federal and direct report contractor clearance program. Represent customer and complex-wide conferences and SSO Video Teleconferences led by designated entity. Ensure physical and technical security compliance. Coordinate National-level and local SCIF inspections, audits and surveys of the site performed by the customer, and the Inspector General. Also coordinate and schedule inspections by other IC and DoD entities that have equities within the site. Responsible for the resolution of issues, if any are identified via inspection. Design and conduct pre-inspection surveys, audits and performance tests conduct periodic self-assessments to ensure the site is compliant with all security rules and regulations. Also responsible to ensure the site SCIF meets exacting criteria for accreditation by the customer and other agencies. Brief customer and designated management on survey results. Supervise the writing, publishing and revision of various security plans and procedures subject to Security Division's approval as required by the customer's regulations, National Security Agency Orders, and ICDs to maintain the integrity of the site SCIF. GEOINT specific Back-up the Departmental GEOINT Mission Manager (sans inherently federal functions). Provide advice and assistance to the GEOINT Mission Manager for the development of Executive Branch level GEOINT policy, plans, and procedures implementing national GEOINT policy for the department. Back-up the Departmental Requirements Officer (DRO) with collection management for the Department in hisher absence. Represent the GEOINT Mission Manager on interagency working groups (where appropriate). Maintain daily communication with the customer DRO. Survey customer labsplantscontractors for GEOINT resource and training requirements. Exploit GEOINT data for national studies. Task and exploit GEOINT supporting Nevada National Security Site studies for NNSS customers and tenants. Conduct reconnaissance threat analysis. Plan, prepare, and deliver executive-level briefings on substantive GEOINT analysis. Basic Qualifications BABS or equivalent experience and 5+ years or prior relevant experience or Masters with 3+ years of prior relevant experience Be a recognized technical authority on the development and interpretation of security guidelines and policies. Have knowledge of Basic security concepts, practices, and procedures and those that apply specifically to the SCI Program promulgated by DNI Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs) and Intelligence operations and interrelationships within the national-level Intelligence Community and the legal constraints imposed by E.O. 12333 and the DOE "Procedures for Intelligence Activities." The conduct of intelligence operations and the specialized field of special security. This involves security programs for intelligence, intelligence-related information, and classified computer network systems under the cognizance of the Director of National Intelligence (DNI). Classification systems for National Security Information and Restricted Data. Become certified as a TOP SECRET Derivative Classifier. Intelligence Community training and certification for Special Security Officers. Become certified as a DOE SSO. DNI and DOE rules and regulations for the management and operation of Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF).
