Pharmacy Technician

Sanford Health is actively seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accurate and efficient handling of medications in one of the largest health systems in the United States. The Pharmacy Technician will participate in the day-to-day operations of our pharmacy services in various settings including clinics, hospitals, and senior living facilities. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, proficiency in pharmacy operations, and a commitment to outstanding patient care. Assist pharmacists in the preparation and distribution of medications. Review and process physicians' medication orders for accuracy and completeness. Maintain accurate patient medication records. Manage medication inventory and place orders to ensure adequate supply levels. Provide information to patients and healthcare professionals about medications. Follow all regulatory and safety guidelines related to pharmacy operations. Strong attention to detail Excellent organizational and multitasking skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in using pharmacy management software Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) preferred Registered or licensed as required by state law.
