Amyx is seeking to hire a Business Systems Analyst to support our Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) contract in the Washington, D.C. area. The job location may be at the DOE HQ in Washington, D.C. and/or at the DOE Germantown, MD location. Responsibilities Responsibilities and Daily Tasks: The Jr. Business Systems Analyst will support the Office of the Chief Financial Officer's (OCFO) Office of Finance and Accounting with the Financial Management Assurance (FMA) and Entity Assurance Tool (EAT) programs. The contractor will provide functional and technical support of the methodologies, processes, toolsets, and training required to successfully perform the programs. Daily tasks will include:--- Update user documentation to enable end users to fully implement FMA and EAT and comply with all requirements.--- Identify and develop training or other educational materials (presentations, business rules, process maps, FAQs, system diagrams) needed to support knowledge transfer in the use of Excel based tools and general implementation requirements.--- Update annual internal controls guidance to communicate changes more effectively and efficiently to the DOE community.--- Design develop and test Excel solutions to customer requirements.--- Conduct data consolidations and analysis on use of DOE developed Financial Risk Management tools.--- Provide help desk support to DOE personnel entering data or analyzing information from Risk Management tools and reports. Supported Technologies: Financial Management Assurance, Entity Assurance Tool, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, User Training Qualifications Required Skills and Qualifications:--- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Finance or other related discipline. Must have experience working with the Federal Government--- Minimum of 2 years of experience. --- Excellent communication skills to interact with Government PM and other personnel.--- Knowledge of Internal Controls at Federal agencies (financial and operational).--- Financial Management and Reporting Requirements at Federal agencies.--- Knowledge in formulating and defining systems scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with a basic understanding of business systems and industry requirements. Includes analysis of business and user needs, documenting requirements, and revising existing system logic.--- MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint advanced knowledge.Desired Skills and Qualifications: --- Public Trust Clearance--- DOE policies, procedures, guidelines, and implementation approach in support of their Financial Management and Entity Assurances.
